Fish and shoot

Noontootla Creek Farms is a 1200 acre beautiful private preserve in southern Fannin County that gives your group the chance to fish for trophy trout (guided of course) and shoot sporting clays after. Start the morning with fly fishing guided by the NCF staff, and expect to catch a rainbow or brown trout from the stocked waters of Noontootla Creek. Bring a picnic lunch! Later enjoy a competitive round of clay shooting in a sport frequently referred to as "Golf with Shotguns." Noontootla offers 12 shooting stations, some with amazing mountain views, for a total of 100 targets.

Hike to local waterfalls on forested trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest--without making a dent in the budget. Find a hiking map here. Ride a bike

For a different experience, check out Pedego Electric Bikes (257 East Main Street, Blue Ridge, Georgia) with rentals that feature pedal assist, as well as options for guided tours. Enjoy one of the trails they suggest along the Toccoa River or by Lake Blue Ridge without wearing yourself out.

When it's time to relax, splurge on soothing massage therapy, holistic facials or therapeutic body treatments during a spa day at TeaTree Spa (3293 East First Street).
