With over two miles of trophy trout water surrounded by 1,300 beautiful acres of land, Noontootla Creek Farms is a great place to begin your Blue Ridge outdoor adventure. Time spent on one of the Southeast’s most prolific trout fisheries is beyond compare. Home to rainbows, browns, and even the occasional brook trout, Noontootla Creek has been fostered to host only wild trout. From beginners to experts, guides are equipped to host fly fishers of all types to successfully catch (and release!) fish that are worth phoning home about. Bring the guys, girls, or the family out to the farm to spend a half or full day on carefully managed private water.

Noontootla's 12-station sporting clay course is state-of-the-art in a stunning mountain setting. While 100 rounds completes the course, you are welcome to shoot as many as you please. Driving from station to station golf carts, you will be surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest, where the views come at no additional charge. If you are new to this addicting sport Noontootla offers private instruction, gun rental, and more to get you started on the right foot.

If you like guided bird hunting, afield at Noontootla you'll find some of the best bird dogs flushing coveys of quail or sometimes even pheasants. Guides can instruct even the most novice hunter to have a successful day. While the guide and his dog can help you find birds, it will be up to you to hit them!

To get the full farm experience, you can stay at Grandad’s Farmhouse, a four bedroom, three bath home with a full kitchen, satellite TV & WiFi, fireplace, and screened in front porch. The farmhouse has six twin beds and 1 queen bed and sleeps 7-8 comfortably.

The Owenby Family invites you to be a part of their life outdoors in the foothills of Appalachia. The family has spent almost 70 years making memories on the farm and they hope to share it with others for the generations to come.
