Overview
The train departs from the old depot in downtown Blue Ridge. Your destination is downtown McCaysville, Georgia. Walk across the Blue Line on the street and you're in Copperhill, Tennessee! The rail adventure is a 4 hour 26 mile round trip, with a 2 hour layover to explore.
Newly added this year is to be able to book the Caboose!
This private car provides the perfect atmosphere for family reunions, birthday parties, private meetings, corporate events, or just a fun experience! Our Caboose accommodates up to 10 riders (including infants) with seats on the main level and in the cupola. The climate-controlled Caboose features two windows in the cupola that can be opened, a private bathroom, heat, and open-air vestibules at each end for an unobstructed view of the beautiful Blue Ridge countryside.
Snacks with an assortment of 10-bottled Coca-Cola products are included. (Alcohol is not permitted). It’s an excellent value for small groups and private parties of up to 10 passengers.

Now Offering Railbike Rides in Season!
Embark on a new and exciting journey through the Blue Ridge Countryside aboard a custom-built, four-person electric Railbike! Sit back and explore as you leisurely pedal your motor-assisted railbike through the foothills of North Georgia. Leave the depot in historic downtown Blue Ridge and begin a 5.7 mile round-trip adventure as you meander alongside streams, vineyards, and the tall, swaying Georgia pines. Halfway through your trip, your friendly guide will pause the tour to allow you to snap some photos of the local flora and fauna. Recharged and refreshed, you’ll bike back to the historic Blue Ridge depot, taking along memories that will last forever.
