Situated just inside the park entrance, the brand-new dog park promises tail-wagging adventures and a host of exciting amenities for both dogs and their human companions.

1. Small Dog Park & Large Dog Park: We understand that dogs come in all shapes and sizes. That's why we offer separate small and large dog parks, ensuring that every pup can roam in a safe and comfortable environment. Your furry friend will have a blast making new buddies while you relax and watch the fun.
2. Doggie Waste Stations: We care about keeping our park clean and pleasant for everyone. Conveniently located doggie waste stations make it easy for you to clean up after your pet, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment for all visitors.
3. Benches: Take a load off and unwind on our comfortable benches while your dog plays. Watch as your pet explores, socializes, and enjoys the fresh air.
4. Paved Walking Path: Stay active with your furry friend by strolling along our beautifully paved walking path. Three laps around the path equal a mile, making it easy to keep track of your exercise goals while your dog stretches their legs.
5. Future Enhancements: We're constantly improving to make it an even better place for our community. In the near future, we have exciting plans that include:
Shade: We are in the process of putting up canopy shades over each of the benches.
Small Playground: Bring the whole family, as we're adding a small playground for younger children. Let the kids have fun while your dog enjoys playtime.
Agility and Training Equipment: For the adventurous canines, we'll be installing agility and training equipment. Challenge your dog's agility and skills, and strengthen the bond between you and your furry companion.
Funded by Fannin County Tourism Product Development: We are proud to share that Horseshoe Bend Park - Dog Park & Walking Trail is funded by a portion of the Fannin County hotel/motel tax, as designated by law for tourism product development. This means that not only do you get to enjoy a top-notch dog park, but your visit also contributes to the growth and enhancement of our community.
