Overview
Long Creek Falls is located on the Appalachian Trail near the Three Forks where the Appalachian, Benton MacKaye and Duncan Ridge Trails meet. The hike is two miles out and back along Long Creek. See the map. The road leading to the trailhead follows beautiful Noontootla Creek, which itself has several smaller falls. There are lots of pull off areas for picnics and trout fishing for native browns (catch and release only). Check out this video of two families exploring. See out this map for directions and other waterfalls in the area.
